Through an exploration of his own understanding of the world Dominic uses his camera as a bridge to enter into different walks of life. The camera a link, giving him a peek into the personal lives of 11 makers. Exploring how art serves as both a mirror and a lens through which these artists understand and communicate their place in the world. Using a mix of digital and 16mm analogue film we are transported into the homes and studio of musicians, painters and business owners.
By showcasing these varied perspectives, "Ways of Being" ultimately poses a fundamental question: How does the act of creation reflect and shape our deepest understanding of ourselves and the world around us? The film celebrates the richness of human experience and the profound impact that art can have in exploring the complexities of existence.
